There's been a lot of buzz and excitement in the Energy Drink market as of late. VPX Bang Energy Drink continues to roll out great products and great flavors, most recently their Frose Rose which is quite tasty. Monster's Reign Energy Drink has been getting a lot of attention as well. And most recently Rockstar Energy Drink company teamed up with X-Box for a Gears 5 themed can to promote ther Rockstar Punched Energy + Punch Drink of which there will be 5 different cans for fans to collect. Apparently buyers of the special edition Rockstar cans can use them to unlock special rewards, as well as enter a drawing to win Gears 5 themed prizes.
Well with so much excitement in the energy drink space we thought it would be fun to do an Energy Drink Showdown and see how these three energy drinks stack up against one another.
Well, taking a look at the supplmenet facts one area where these three energy drinks differe is in the area of calories. The Rockstar Energy+Punch has a whopping 130 calories, right up there with a can of soda, where as the Reign and Bang Energy Drinks have 0 calories. Both Reign and Bang have nearly identical supplement labels and unlike Rockstar, feature some added B Vitamins and Niacin. Bang features a bit more with Vitamin C, Magnesium and a few other vitamins and minerals added.
VPX Bang was the first energy drink to have BCAAs and Creatine, however Reign followed suite and also added BCAA's, as well as CoQ10. Both Reign and Bang have 300 grams of Caffeine where as Rockstar Energy+Punch has 240 grams of caffeine.

Okay, so we've looked at the nutritional facts and ingredients, we've looked at the flavor choices, and we've taken a look at what some users of these three energy drinks have said. We also tried all three ourselves as well.
Now this is a tough decision. We're going to start by first eliminating Rockstar Punched. While it's not a bad tasting drink, it has more calories and fewer flavor choices than Reign and VPX Bang. It also has 60 grams less caffeine.
Now comes the tough part. Monster Reign and VPX Bang are almost identical in many ways. Same caffeine, a lot of the same added vitamins and minerals, and an almost identical nutrition label. This is going to be a tough choice.
Both Reign and Bang pack a ton of energy and taste great. Neither has that syrupy sugary consistancy that many "gas station" energy drinks tend to have.
Ultimately however we're going to give the win to VPX Bang for two reasons. First off, the huge variety of flavor options. At the time of the writing of this article Bang has 18 flavor options compared to Reign's 6 flavor options. The other reason that we're going to give a slight edge to Bang is they were the originators of the healthy, zero calorie, high caffeine, and creatine and BCAA added energy drinks. Reign is a great product, but Bang was the trail blazers in this space.
All in all however both Reign and Bang are fantastic Energy Drinks and you really can't go wrong with either. A lot of this is going to come down to personal choice in regards to flavor options and taste.
We currently have VPX Bang Energy Drinks in stock and should be getting Reign in shortly. You can checkout our selection of Bang below...
