Arnica Montana is a medicine made from the plant Arnica Montana which has been used for centuries to treat the effects of falls in mountainous regions from the Alps to the Andes. This medicine is typically referred to just as "arnica", and is known for it's ability to relieve minor aches, pains and stiffness.
The way which arnica works is not completely understood. One explaination is that it increases the floow of blood thorugh the affected capillaries causing the escaped fluids to be absorbed. The absorption of the escaped fluids makes black and blue marks go away faster and reduces the swelling, relieving the pressure on the nerve endings. This in turn relieves the pain and stiffness.
Adults or children over 2 years: Take 3 tablets 4-6 times a day. Allow to dissolve under tongue. Stop when symptoms are relieved.

Do not take this product for pain for more than 10 days (adult) or 5 days (children) unless directed by a doctor. If pain persists or gets worse, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a doctor because these could be signs of a serious condition.
