Protein Rice Krisipie Treats
If you love Rice Krispie Treats and want to put a healthy spin on it, check out this awesome recipe you can make with protein powder! Plus, if you love peanut butter, you can mix in some peanut butter as well! There are a variety of ways to make this recipe, depending on your preferences, you can use whatever flavor of protein powder you would like! This recipe is a low-sugar, vegan and gluten friendly! This will be a great treat to store or great on-the-go snack or dessert!
2 Cups Of Mini Marshmallows
2 Tablespoons Of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Cup Of Creamy Peanut Butter (Optional)
8 Cups Of Rice Krispies Cereal
1/3 Cup Of Creamy Peanut Butter (Optional)
In a large, non-stick pot, combine marshmallows and peanut butter; melt marshmallows while stirring constantly.
Once marshmallows are smooth and melted, stir in vanilla protein powder.
Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
Using a spatula or wax paper, press mixture into a 9x13 pan.
Cut into squares and spread peanut butter on top (if desired).
