Rich Piana 5% Nutrition Liquid L-Carnitine 3150 is a mega-dose formula combining four powerful and effective forms of Carnitine with the most powerful "Super Carnitine" Gamma-Butyrobetaine Ethyl Ester HCI aka GBB. These forms of Carnitine were combined to create one of the highest performing liquid L-Carnitine products on the market today. L-Carnitine 3150's mega dose of 3150mg of Carnitine is 150mg more than any other L-Carnitine products on the market.
What is Carnitine? Carnitine is a molecule derived from the amino acids lysine and methionine, both of which are produced naturally in the liver and kidneys. It's oftentimes mis-classified as an amino acid. Carnitine enables the transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria to be used as energy by the body. As fatty acids are moved by Carnitine, they are converted into ATP via a process of beta-oxidation. This is an ongoing process that increases during heavy exercise as fatty acids are burned for fuel. Carnitine is conditionally essential which means not everyone is able to reach adequate levels of Carnitine by diet alone. Because of this supplementation can be a good idea to support overall health. Some additional potential benefits aside from just fat loss include additional power through your workouts, as well as nitric oxide stimulation, improved recovery, and muscle growth support.
5% Nutrition's Liquid L-Carnitine 3150 is a powerful combination of four different forms of Carnitine that are combined with GBB, an advanced ingredient that converts to Carnitine once in the body. This formula supports the transport of fat to be burned as energy, it simulates thermogenesis, and supports recovery and muscle growth. This formula is leaps and bounds above many other products on the market due to it's huge 3150 dose of Carnitine, which works out to a full 150mg more than other formulas on the market.
Thiamin – 25 mg
Part of the water-soluble B-Complex family of vitamins and known as Vitamin B1, Thiamin helps the body utilize carbohydrates for energy.
Carnitine Blend – 3150 mg
This is a huge dose; no other Liquid Carnitine formula can touch it! Leave it to 5% Nutrition to create an innovative complex of four highly effective forms of Carnitine, each with their own benefits, and then tie it all together with the advanced ingredient GBB.
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate –
Also known as LCLT, this form of Carnitine is absorbed faster than other forms and supports recovery as well as muscle growth. The primary way LCLT affects muscle growth is by increasing the androgen receptor that allows testosterone to work more effectively in the body which leads to improved recovery and the stimulation of lean muscle growth.
Also known as ALCAR, this form of Carnitine has a wide range of benefits, such as supporting the metabolism of stored fat to be used in the production of ATP energy by the body. ATP is the energy your muscles use to power you through your workouts. ALCAR is also involved in the synthesis of acetylcholine which means it has cognitive benefits such as promoting a positive mood as well as supporting learning ability.
Glycine Propionyl L-Carnitine –
Also known as GPLC, this is a combination of Propionyl-L-Carnitine (PLC) and the amino acid Glycine. This version not only supports the production of ATP energy by enabling the transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria, it also promotes nitric oxide production for improved nutrient and oxygen delivery to your working muscles. Of course, you can expect a good pump.
Gamma-Butyrobetaine Ethyl Ester HCl –
Also known as GBB, this is a relatively new ingredient that’s earned the nickname “Super Carnitine” and is the molecule that your body converts into L-Carnitine when it’s producing its own Carnitine. Some studies are showing that plasma concentrations double after taking GBB which is one reason it’s earned the title “Super Carnitine”.
As a dietary supplement; take 1 tablespoon (14.79ml) 30 minutes prior to training on workout days. Can be consumed at any time of day on non-workout days. Shake well. Refrigerate after opening. Suggested Dosage: Do not exceed more than one serving per day.
L-Carnitine 3150 can be stacked with a pre-workout like 5% Nutrition's 5150 or others. That said simply make sure you take your L-Carnitine with carbs. Some studies have shown no benefits to carnitine because people fail to adaquetly raise muscle carnitine levels because the supplement wasn't taken at the right time. The right time to take L-Carnitine is when insulin would be spiked and muscle uptake would be adaquete. Newer research is showing that insulin levels must be high for L-Carnitine to enter muscle cells, which is where it performs the majority of its work.
L-Carnitine 3150 will work with any resistance based exercise or endurance based training, it's best for intense workouts with a medium to high volume of reps, applied at 70 to 85% of your max. L-Carnitine is also great for sets with a repetiion count of between 8 to 12, or for those which include beyond failure rate techniques. It's great for endurance based workout programs and for those performance aware athletes, triathalon participants, and anyone who's workout out more than one session per day.
